Description:
This Mach 1 was made to scream. With its 4 speed manual transmission, and optional 3.50 deep axle ratio and traction lock differential, plus its 4 bbl 351 Cleveland engine, it will probably peel the rubber off the tires when properly restored. This Mach would make an easy project car which would be worth at least $27,000 to $33,000 when restored. It‘s only not performance option was Tinted Glass. You might want to add disk brakes all around if you are going to race the car. The original color was Medium Bright Blue Metallic with a Black Clarion Knit /Corinthian interior and Black hood stripe. The original 351 Cleveland engine and 4 speed toploader transmission are missing but we have both available from another car on request. There is almost no rust work needed to make this car a show stopper, but it will need the wrinkle in the driver’s rear quarter and front fender massaged out, and the normal interior redo, engine rebuild, and transmission checked out. The rest of the car is rust free, NO rust holes in trunk area, inner aprons, frame rails, or torque boxes. IT IS A SOLID CAR. The deck lid and hood look straight and are rust free (nice pieces).. The car has the original quarter panels. Doors and fenders also look original.
Seats will be needed but are available. Needs ft & rear valances - Has the Rim Blow steering wheel [good for a core] – Tinted windshield is good and door glass and the 1/4 side glass are all there, dash is in poor condition. |
