Description:
This Mach 1 was made to break the sound barrier.. With its 4 speed manual transmission, and optional 3.25 deep axle ratio and traction lock differential, plus its 4 bbl 351 Windsor engine, it will burn rubber all the way down the block when properly restored. This Mach would make an easy project car which would be worth at least $27,000 to $33,000 when restored. It‘s only non performance option was Tinted Glass. You might want to add disk brakes all around if you are going to race the car. The original color was Acapulco Blue Metallic with a White Clarion Knit /Corinthian interior and Black Out Hood treatment. The original 351Windsor engine and 4 speed toploader transmission are missing but we have both available from another car on request. There is not much rust work needed to make this car a show stopper, but it will need a hood and a couple of front fenders, and a deck lid which are available., and the normal interior redo, engine rebuild, and transmission checked out. The rest of the car is rust free, NO rust holes in trunk area, inner aprons, frame rails, or torque boxes. IT IS A SOLID CAR. The car has the original quarter panels. Doors and fenders also look original.
Seats will be needed but are available. Needs ft & rear valances - Has the Rim Blow steering wheel [good for a core] – Tinted windshield is missing and door glass and the 1/4 side glass are all there, dash is needed as well.. |
