A Black on Black Stalion ! one of the most desirable color combinations if you want a truly elegant "R" Code (Shaker Hood Scoop) Mach 1. With its C-6 Automaticl transmission, and 3.50 axle ratio, plus its 4 bbl 428 big block engine this Mach 1 is for serious drivers only. It will need some work to come to life, but the Black on Black combo will look sharp when finished. When properly restored, this Black Stalion will be worth the effort. Easily worth $37,000 to $43,000 when restored. Black Clarion Knit/Vinyl High Back Bucket Seats, and AM Radio make this a low option Mach 1 which is ready for anything you want to add. You might want to add disk brakes all around, just to stop this steed, especially, if you are going to race the car.
The original 428 engine and C-6 automatic transmission are missing but we have both available on request. There is rust work needed around the rear quarters and floor pans to make this Black Stalion a show stopper, but the hood and front fenders look good, as does the deck lid Plan on the normal interior redo, engine and transmission rebuild, etc.. The car has the original quarter panels. Doors and fenders also look original.
Has the Rim Blow steering wheel [good for a core]. Trimmed out and restored, this Black on Black Mach 1 Stalion would be a beautiful horse to drive. |
