Description:
This Mustang has been almost fully restored, and would be a great daily driver, or with some Go Fast accessories, it would leave tire marks all the way down the street.
PAINT:
The Grabber Blue paint is new and looks awesome with the black-out hood treatment and GT side stripe.
BODY:
The frame is solid. Floors have been replaced. There is no rust anywhere. Please see the pictures showing the car from underneath. The bumpers and rims are in good condition.
DRIVE TRAIN:
The 302 Windsor engine has been rebuilt and runs good. A few Go Fast parts and this Mustang’s engine bay would deliver “under hood envy”. The C-4 transmission has also been rebuilt and shifts well.
The carburetor has been rebuilt.
Power steering makes this Mustang a pleasure to drive. The Mustang has good drum brakes all the way around with a new Master cylinder. If you are the successful bidder and want disk brakes in the front, we could add those for an additional $1,000.
INTERIOR:
The interior is in good condition as the pictures show. The carpet is new. The seat covers are new. There is a small crack in the dash near the speakers. The drivers door panel has the hole for a remote mirror, so if you want to change from the standard mirror to a remote mirror it would not require a new door panel.
GREAT PACKAGE:
These Mustangs are only going to go up in price particularly if you spend a little time working on all the details.
Good running, rust free, restored Mustangs are very hard to find. Our loss is your gain. If you were starting from scratch, it would cost twice that amount to find all the original parts, engine, transmission, etc.
We estimate that in a fully restored condition, this Mustang would easily be worth a minimum of $18,000.
If you add a few of your own ideas, when you are finished, you will truly have a unique classic Mustang. |
